Abstract: In directing attention toward concerns regarding human dignity, this paper addresses the revealing and concealing nature of paradigms that we unconsciously and consciously embrace as we interpret, classify, and make meaningful our experiences and relationships. In reflective examination and hermeneutic interpretation of my professional and personal experience within the field of special education, three educational visions emerged which have served to organize the analysis of human dignity.
