Abstract: Ever Since the publication of the "St. Louis Equation" by Anderson and Jordan and its later appearance as a conerstone of the St. Lois Model, the equation has been the subject of great debate. The equation showed that quarterly changes in the money stock exerted a much greater influence on nominal GNP than did quaterly changes in high employement federal spending.
