Abstract: Many colleges and universities have significant numbers of students living in on-campus housing. In addition to overseeing physical facilities, residential life staff provide programming that creates community and supports students' academic, social, and cultural development while living in the residence halls. In this chapter, Crowe, Hummel, Dale, and Bazirjian show the variety of programs that can be developed through a collaboration between residential life and the library and discuss some practical considerations for those interested in initiating a similar collaboration on their own campuses.
