Abstract: UNC Greensboro (UNCG) is a public university within the University of North Carolina system. UNCG had just over 20,000 students enrolled in fall 2018.[1] The university “offers 82 undergraduate majors in more than 100 areas of study, 74 masters programs and 32 doctoral programs.”[2] Our Carnegie classification is “Doctoral Universities: High research activity,” and we also hold a Carnegie classification for community engagement.[3] In practice, this means that the university is committed to both teaching and research, and we have developed many strong community partnerships.
