Abstract: This ethnographic research explores the concepts of religion and acculturation, and possible relationships between them, in the Greensboro, North Carolina Montagnard community. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. A range of acculturative and religious experiences were found. Gender, time in the United States, age at arrival in the United States, generation of arrival in the United States, and other factors contributed to the experience of acculturation for each participant. Implications and possibilities for further research are discussed.
