Abstract: Leaders in the field of home economics have recognized the value of studying and evaluating the learning experiences offered in home economics at college and secondary levels to ascertain whether the curriculum is meeting the needs of students. Attempts are being made to focus the instruction in this field to the needs of the modern homemaker through the family centered program.
