Abstract: With the velocity at which the activities of the nation are increasing, the people who are trying to keep up with them are finding themselves in a state of nervous tension. Fewer households have servants and more homemakers are working outside the home, causing the family to have added duty. This being true, more and more stress is being placed on work simplification in order to reduce the time and energy used, thus giving more leisure time and reducing these tensions. One reason that the increase in activities has affected people is that "there is evidence that the little known of easier procedures for definite jobs in the home is not widespread." 1
