Abstract: Slides with notes from a presentation discussing roles for librarians in supporting researchers who are creating serials using Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open source journal management and publishing system. This presentation discussed UNCG’s OJS implementation and covered roles, expectations, and skills needed for journal personnel and library staff who work with OJS. If your institution is using or considering OJS for scholarly publishing endeavors, this session will help you prepare for some of the possibly-unexpected questions and issues that may come up. This presentation was delivered March 21, 2016 at the North Carolina Serials Conference in Chapel Hill, NC.
