Janet Painter

Currently an Associate Professor, she has been with the School of Education at Lenoir-Rhyne University since 2004. Her research interests include school-university partnerships (PDS), global education, historic Rosenwald schools, social equity and social justice education, and classical language study. She received her B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Classics graduating cum laude at Lenoir-Rhyne College, her M. Ed. in Secondary Education at the UNC Charlotte, and her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Teaching at UNC Greensboro.
