Education: MLIS, UNCG, 2007; BA in English (Spanish, Women's & Gender Studies), UNCG, 2005. I manage the cataloging of electronic resources for the library -- web sites, e-books, audio files, and more -- as well as the processing of UNCG scholarly articles and electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) into NC DOCKS, our institutional repository (IR), and related metadata conversions. I also catalog our Spanish-language materials and serve as adjunct to the Reference librarians. Research interests include current and evolving practices in cataloging and other metadata work for electronic resources of all kinds; and inter-departmental collaboration, within academic libraries as well as between libraries and other academic departments.
