Tim is the founder and convener of the Carolina Consortium, a group of 140 academic libraries that save 240 million dollars a year through bulk purchasing. He is also an inventor of Journal Finder, the first Open URL link resolver and knowledge base to go into production in the United States. Tim is on the NC LIVE Librarians Council and was named by Library Journal as a “mover and shaker” who is significantly influencing the future direction of librarianship.
