Focused on economic and social justice issues and on changing the world through collaboration and innovation. Interested in the intersection of various policies: science & technology, economic development, taxation, etc., and how they can be leveraged to benefit society. A North Carolina native, I am keenly interested in ensuring that every individual is secure in their right and access to the voting booth, and am working to support the efforts of Democracy NC and NC voter.org. Specialties: Research policy analysis, evaluating the economic development impact of US research universities. Policy analysis; social, science and technology, academic, taxation and economic development. Academic technology transfer & start-up formation, licensing of all forms of intellectual property, small business support in IP evaluation, developing business & strategic plans, market analyses, and creating proposals/pitches to venture capitalists and other investors. Econometric analysis (Stata, SAS, MatLab). Big data management, information systems and work flow analysis.
