Amit Verma

Amit Verma graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Mathematical Decision Sciences and Operations Research. He also completed a Masters in Public Health from UNCG in 2006 and is currently a fourth year doctoral student in Public Health at UNCG. While enrolled as a student, he has worked with UNC School of Medicine doing hepatitis C research and has worked as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine conducting research on occupational skin diseases among migrant farm workers. Currently he is an assistant evaluator with the Center and is experienced in research design and development, research methodologies, statistical analysis, and grant writing
