Recieved a diploma from North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, a certificate of nurse anesthesia from North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia, a BS in biology from Guilford College, and a Master's of Science in Anesthesia from Wake Forest University. In addition to the membereships already listed, I am a member of the North Carolina Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Coalition. In the North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists, I have served on the Education and Research, Bylaws, Finance, Government Relations, and Strategic Planning Committees. I have served as Secretary, Vice-President, and President of the North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists. For the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, I have served on the Education Committee, Editorial Advisory Committee, Journal Editorial Advisory Board, Practice Committee, and as Education and Chairperson of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
