Carol A. Mullen
Carol A. Mullen is a Professor at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations. Her fields of research include mentorship, graduate student inquiry, and leadership studies. Dr. Mullen serves as Editor of the refereed international journal Mentoring & Tutoring: Partnership in Learning (Routledge/Taylor & Francis Group). Previously, Dr. Mullen was an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida where she taught masters and doctoral courses in curriculum, teacher evaluation, and administrative change. Additionally, she served as Director of the New Faculty Mentoring Program (NFMP) for USF's College of Education. While at USF, Dr. Mullen established the Writers in Training cohort for which she received the 2005 Florida Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (FASCD) Excellence in Teaching and Research Award. She was also recipient of the 2006 Women's Leadership Award from the USF Women's Status Committee.
