Abstract: In this paper various types of separation axioms are studied. The ideas behind these results originated in [2], [4], and a seminar held by Dr. K. R. Gentry in the spring of 1969. In Chapters I and II, the separation axioms related to weakly equivalent topologies are studied. Also in Chapter II, somewhat homeomorphisms are defined and a major theorem is proved showing that weak topological properties are preserved under somewhat homeomorphisms. In Chapter III, strongly topological properties and strongly separation axioms are introduced. In Chapter IV, the somewhat separation axioms are defined and several theorems showing their relationship to the usual separation axioms are proved.
