Abstract: Cryptocurrencies can have significant privacy costs. A motivated adversary has available a range of actions to identify the actual user associated with a cryptocurrency account. By taking appropriate measures, cryptocurrency users can minimize privacy violations and reduce the risk of privacy breaches.
