Abstract: Busy Work is a thesis about finding my feminism. For two years I investigated my feelings surrounding my roles as a woman and an artist. I realized early on that things are not often as they appear, opinions are often tightly held, and nothing can be considered inherent. My goals changed from creating a body of work that looked good and made sense, to making the work that would guide me towards finding my own place
