Abstract: The context of the project is a composition on the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. There are nine in total: love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control ("Galatians 5: ESV Bible: YouVersion."). The first three are inward, and they come from God. The second group of three concerns the relationships Christians have with one another, and the last group of three concerns more general traits in the life of a Christian (Barnes 1-3). The expected contribution of this project is to the field of art. I want the project to contribute in a way that can visually express what I cannot speak. Being able to display words from the Bible visually helps to add to the exposure of the Gospel to believers and non-believers. The project is significant because it helps to expand the field of art. Christian art is not as prominent on social media or in public, and it is a niche that I would like to see growth in and contribute to the growth. I enjoy seeing art on social media, and I am grateful that I get the opportunity to share art as well. I also enjoy seeing the process of making art, so getting to research and study my topic before creating the art can help others understand the meaning of the artwork. I am hoping that the art I create influences someone in a way that is impactful.
