Abstract: This study analyzes the potential associations between social determinants of health and ADHD diagnosis. There are several well documented social factors that have been correlated with ADHD diagnosis on the national level, including insurance coverage, insurance type, parental education, and family income. Was this association evident on the state level? This study supported the association between insurance type/insurance coverage and ADHD diagnosis; however, the relationship between ADHD and other social determinants of health were not supported in this study"s regression analysis.
