Abstract: This article updates a 2010 article , Moving Toward Healthier Eating Environments in Hospitals. It provides advocates for healthy food environments in hospitals with suggestions about the roles they can play in initiating or maintaining a healthy food environment. These suggestions come from the literature as well as interviews with professionals in creating environments where the healthy choice is an easy choice--in the face of competing priorities and realities.
