Abstract: This portfolio of creative writing includes four full-length short stories and two pieces of flash fiction. In each of the full-length stories a male protagonist gets caught up in circumstances over which he has little control. Both pieces of flash fiction are inspired by recent re-readings of work in religious studies that has been important in my thinking - one by Georges Bataille another by Linda Badham.
