Abstract: This letter was written on November 13th, 1847, and it was written by William Alexander Graham and addressed to Jacob Siler. The premise of this letter is that Graham is alerting Siler that he will receive copies of the certificates of sales of Cherokee Lands, and these documents are to be used in the future sales that Siler is now authorized to make. This transcription and its attendant annotations, explanatory material, and bibliography were prepared by students in ENGL 618: Research Methods in English, the required gateway class for the MA in English at Western Carolina University.
