Wesley Parrish

Wesley Parrish is an undergraduate student at Western Carolina University majoring in Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeological Studies and Minoring in Biology and is expected to graduate in May of 2022. He has worked with faculty in the Anthropology and Sociology Department and Geosciences Department on topics such as ceramic analysis, landscape analysis, applications of GIS to archaeology, and applications of geochemistry to archaeology. He participated in the Research and Scholarship Conference (RASC) in the Spring of 2022 and will be continuing research at North Carolina State University in the Fall of 2022 while pursuing a M.A. in Anthropology with a specialization in Archaeology and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
