W. Zane Billings

W. Zane Billings graduated from Western Carolina University with B.S. degrees in mathematics and biology in 2020. In 2019, he participated in the Population Biology of Infectious Diseases REU program at the University of Georgia, which led to beginning a PhD program in epidemiology and biostatistics at UGA after graduation. He currently works with Andreas Handel, focusing on data analysis and modeling of infectious diseases, primarily flu and the seasonal influenza vaccine.
