Abstract: This chapter is from the book "The Discovery Tool Cookbook: Recipes for Successful Lesson Plans" which showcases tested lessons by librarians and practitioners for teaching information literacy using a discovery tool. "Pricing the Ingredients" is a flipped-classroom assignment designed for use in a face-to-face, semester-long library course.
