Abstract: This thesis focuses on the creation of a thematic unit to teach during an internship at the elementary school level. The thematic unit includes a pre and post assessment, unit goals and objectives, general pre unit materials, lesson plans, data analysis and reflections. The purpose of creating a unit was to implement different fun techniques and strategies and to analyze assessment data from the unit to see if the strategies produced successful results.
