Abstract: The researcher designed this project to see if preservice special education teachers have unrealistic expectations of what their job's responsibilities as special education teachers will be. To find this out the research compared what in-service special education teachers identify as actual job responsibilities to what the preservice teachers identified as job responsibilities.
