Beth Filar Williams

Beth Filar Williams served as the Coordinator of Library Services for Distance Learning at Jackson Library of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2008 to 2015. She has Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland and Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the Johns Hopkins University. She was previously a library consultant serving all types of libraries through the Colorado Library Consortium, a Map Librarian and Unit Head at the University of Colorado at Boulder and a middle school librarian in Howard County Maryland. She blogs at Going Green @ your library, often presenting or writing on this topic as well as e-learning and distance learning concepts, instructional design and technology, technology tools and trends, virtual international collaboration and internships, and even map librarianship.
