Abstract: The purposes of this study were (1) to determine what changes have occurred in the physical education major curricula of the United States and Canada within the decade of the sixties: (2) to identify any trends which may be indicated by these changes; (3) to examine and analyze any trends identified; and (4) to provide a source of information for those who have responsibilities for the physical education major curriculum.
