Abstract: The purpose of the present investigation was to determine and compare differences between adolescents who were living in a child care institution and adolescents who were living in intact family situations with respect to (1) Marriage role expectations, (2) Attitude toward marriage, (3) Attitude toward divorce, (4) Perceptions of generalized family interaction patterns, and (5) Family size preferences.
