Abstract: The purposes of this investigation were to examine the effects of an upper and lower body plyometric training program on the: (a) 1 Repetition Maximum (RM) parallel squat; (b) 1 RM supine bench press; (c) Power Index; (d) peak power and time to peak power of an anaerobic capacity bicycle test; (e) sport specific performance task in the 16 yard dash; and (f) accuracy and velocity of the field hockey drive.
