Abstract: "Domestic violences is a big issue around the world and it has negative effects on many families. It seems that some communities are affected by domestic violence more than others. In Robeson County it seems that we are hearing more and more about victims of domestic violence. My goal for this thesis is to speak out against domestic violence and bring attention to it. Their stories should be heard, and we have to do whatever we can to not let it happen again. These are some of the reasons I decided to have a fundraiser that directly helps individuals that have suffered from domestic violence."
