Abstract: Despite its extensive protected areas and significant wildlife populations, Eastern North Carolina remains relatively unknown for its wilderness. Using wildlife photography as a bridge, I hope to expose others to the region, to educate them on its background, and to inspire them to visit and support it for themselves. Along with outreach, the wildlife photography will center around a fundraiser, donating all proceeds to a local environmental nonprofit.
