Abstract: Note from the artist: The artwork uses orange, blue, and green to represent the Sun and Earth. The background uses blue, yellow, and white shades to add excitement and give the painting some energy. The actual mask has a blue and green side. One side is whole, solid, and the other is cracked, broken. On the broken side, you can see the golden specs on the broken area to represent the way people move forward in life, that something broken can be fixed and made better. Traditional African masks inspire the actual mask, unfortunately, this isn’t one of the best paintings that were showcased, but I’m working hard to improve my painting skills every chance I get.
