Abstract: As part of a larger chemotaxonomic project to evaluate the relationship between the Cyatheaceae and Dicksoniaceae and the separation of Trichipteris sp. and Cyathea sp., seven species of Jamaican and Costa Rican Cyatheaceae were studied for their flavonoid content.
