Abstract: This paper examines the perceived concepts that administrators of environmental law hold toward political influence imposed on them during the administration of their duties. The investigation was carried out by three basic mechanisms: review of literature, questionnaire survey of administrators of environmental law, and on-the-job experience as an administrator. The study also examines the relationships of the administrator to legislative bodies, the general public and influence groups.
