Abstract: This study concerns itself with a critical analysis of ten selected anthems by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The ten anthems are analyzed, depicting stylistic aspects as utilized by Vaughan Williams. These aspects include general stylistic elements of sound, form, harmony, melody, rhythm, and relationship of the text to the music.
