Abstract: The purposes of this study were 1) to obtain the reduction half-wave potentials of several trans-dichlorobis (substituted aniline) palladium (II) complexes; 2) to compare these values to that of the parent compound; 3) to ascertain and measure any shift in the half-wave potential; and 4) determine any correlation between these shifts and Hammet substitution parameter for the substituent.
