Abstract: The handful of critical discussions on Blake's "The Four Zoas" has produced no structural or thematic unity for the lengthy and mystical prophetic poem. Though several critics have offered archetypal interpretations for sections of the poem, there exists no mythic or archetypal analysis of the entire work. However, after the archetypal principles of C.G. Jung are applied in a critical analysis of the work, the poem may be seen as a unified progression by the character Albion to universal consciousness.
