Abstract: Is it possible for a Library to transform itself to meet the needs of a 21st century patron population by making changes in physical space? In order to break down barriers to effective learning, the library collection was reorganized, new furniture was installed, and a café was built inside the Library. Ultimately, academic libraries must make renovations to meet the needs of a 21st century patron population. Users of the Library have come to expect a more open atmosphere where they are free to learn and collaborate with each other.
