Abstract: The advent of computers has greatlychanged education. This change has beenfurther enhanced by the development ofthe Internet and vital programmingcourseware to aid and enhance instruction.Computers and the Internet have allowededucators to broaden their horizons andextend their ability to teach to a broadrange of learners, including thosephysically separated from each other andthe institution. Many of these learners areat distances too great and widely dispersedto come together as a unified whole in thetraditional classroom. The ability to reachthese learners via computers and theInternet is more commonly referred to as“distance education.”
