Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate and establish the existence of organicism in early German Romanticism and in Nazism and 1) to determine the most obvious similarities of the two applications of the organic concept and 2) to show that the extreme assiduity of Nazi organicism had a good foundation in Romantic organicism.
