Abstract: This study was undertaken to prepare appropriate polypropylene films of various degrees of extension, to obtain densities and infrared dichroic ratios, to correlate draw ratio, density, and dichroic ratios, and, finally, to draw conclusions about the nature of the molecular orientation within the polypropylene films.
