Abstract: It was the purpose of this study (1) to determine the needs for the establishment of a regional center for Audio-Visual Education at the Appalachian State Teachers College to serve the western part of North Carolina; and (2) to determine the amount of interest shown in an Audio-Visual regional center through a questionnaire study and also by personal contact.
