Abstract: In recent years the phrase “China Price” has generated fear and loathing among American manufacturers, who are often pressured by distributors and retailers to match the low prices of Chinese imports. Most consumers haven?t heard of the China Price, but it?s one of the reasons that retail inflation has been kept in check in this country.
