Abstract: During the last decade, many school districts in North Carolina became involved in various forms of school-business partnerships. School districts have turned to corporations and other private-sector organizations for technical as well as financial support in many areas of school operations. Curriculum improvement, innovative teaching strategies, and effective managerial and leadership practices are just a few forms of partnerships to emerge over the last several years.
