Abstract: Some people play solitaire in definite strategies, left to right or right to left, while others play a random strategy called free-form. Can the strategy being used support the idea of solitaire as a game of chance or a game of skill? If a comptuer plays solitaire, will it be more skillful than a person at winning or will luck be a factor? These are the types of questions that this study will attempt to address by compairing the raito of wins to total games played by the coputer and human players.
