Abstract: Computer technology that enhances the intuitive and predictive quality of information is highly attractive to any enterprise seeking a sustainable competitive advantage. Data mining products have become an integral part of every business plan, providing a broad spectrum of reporting and statistical data analysis. The flexibility and applicability make for an appealing return on investment. This paper examines the dynamic nature of the technology along with its current and developing utility in the business environment.
