Abstract: One hundred and fifty Lumbee Native American college students participated in an inves-tigation of the feasibility of constructing profiles of Native Americans from the People of Color Racial Identity Attitude Scale (PRIAS; Helms, 1995b). Findings suggest that Helms’s instrument may be feasible for constructing racial identity attitudes of Native Americans.
